I am going Vegan!(?)

I have decided to implement a vegan diet. It begins now.

Why? I don't really know. This unknowability is due to the fact that I'm the singularity of the decision, to borrow from Jeremy Fernando. I am squarely within the leap of faith.

But that's a cop out - ain't it? Here are some reasons for those who must know:
I want to get healthier -- After consuming a box of pizza, cinnamon sticks, and a few caffeinated beverages, I feel terrible. I haven't been to the gym in a few days, and the belly fat has crept back. I've been in bed for the last two days, grieving my debate team's lackluster performance over the past weekend. As I type this, my chest feels compressed. Put simply, I'm emotionally, spiritually, and physically a wreck right now. But that makes this situation seem more desperate than it really is.

The final decision, an emotional one indeed, was catalyzed by watching Mike Tyson discuss his growth as an individual. His honesty and vulnerablity is hauntingly refreshing.

After that I watched a debate on The Doctors TV show, an interview or two with Ellen Degeneres. Finally I watched some athletic videos of vegan folk, and lastly I watched Bill Clinton. The latter was the final straw.

Interestingly, I came upon the decision during conversations with my friends Korey Johnson and Andrea Bieytes.

I think I may have to consume some dairy products in the early implementation process, but there it is world!

Catharsis complete. Let the life-journey begin.
